Book club closed...

I am now reading a book a week... Thank you Metra!!! my commute to and fro from work runs into a couple of hours giving me a chance to read up.. unfortunately that means i can't recap all of them as fast.. i've been catching up on all the James Patterson stories of Det. Alex Cross.. very very intriguing....

The President's new clothes???

What a crying shame!! the Italian lady is ruining my country and no one gives a hoot. Trying to replace a world renowned scientist who actually generated interest in the Presidents office after 55 years of independence. Dr. APJ Kalam is consientious and has rejected a couple of initiatives by the Congress party. He stopped the Italian from taking office after the last election, he was asked for his interpretation of our constitution. He pointed out that our constitution restricts rights of a Naturalized Indian as the same as those in thier home country, ie. the Italian would not be able to become the PM of India because an Indian cannot become a PM/President of Italy. Thats when the Italian's "Conscience" came alive and she refused to accept the PM's post.
Again when they tried to pass a "Office for Profit" bill to save the Italian's parlimentary post, the good scientist sent it back without signing it.. TWICE!!! How dare someone use common sense in this country!!!!
Unfortunately for the Congress party they were stuck with the Scientist till this year and he was beloved by everyone in the country. They couldn't wait to reject his second term soon enough. The Italian then decided to nominate Mr. Shivraj Patil, one of the most docile politicians in the last 3 decades. When she could not muster up enough support for that foolish idea, she came up with something more foolish. She picked someone who no one had ever heard of... a Pratibha Patil.. a woman!! the first woman President of India. Man i wanted so much to support this cause. Women in India deserve this post. Then came details of this woman.. and all i can say is Coo-kooo. She talks to ghosts, she ran a company to the ground, her personal life is a mystery, no one has any idea who or what she did all her life!!!! She is going to be nothing but a rubber stamp in the Italians pockets. I can see the next election now.. Article 356 will be imposed on UP, Gujrat, Rajasthan and MP and after a farce of an election, she will force her son or god forbid herself on the Indians. Why can't Indians see this??

Make it stop, Make it stop.. The Italian will destroy this coutry.....
